Key Accountabilities:-

  • Monitoring of the customer network
  • Initial diagnosis of faults
  • Notifying the customer and internal stakeholders of the fault and the impact to the network
  • Creating trouble tickets for investigation by other teams
  • Interaction with other Technical and Incident Management teams in C&W
  • Interaction with the customer helpdesk and key IT contacts
  • Individual contributor but has to work as a team member.
  • The role holder has to work on innovating the BAU functions/roles on how best to improve the same.
  • No Direct Reports, No People Management Responsibilities
  • Job is in Shifts (24x7).


Behavioral/ Personality Specifications required:-

  • Ability to communicate with customer’s across varying geographies,
  • Very good Command over English (Written and Spoken).
  • Ability to work with multiple teams to co-ordinate and achieve a common goal.


Desired Profile :-


Essential:-


  • Basic Networking Knowledge (Exposure to Cisco networking preferable)
  • Working knowledge of desktop applications (Windows operating systems, internet browsers, office and mail applications)
  • Methodical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Good at self-learning and quick learner


Desired :


  • Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) certification
  • One year experience in a Managed Service Organization


Education/ Technical/ Functional Qualifications and/or Professional Certifications:


Essential:- Engineering academic background (engineering diploma acceptable)


Desired:- Post Graduation in Advanced Networking preferable

Job Description:



  • Handle first-levelincident / problem determination and resolution on a 24x7 basis Serviceincidents and queries within the agreed service levels.
  • Timely escalation ofincidents to higher levels when required. Log file monitoring for errors.Perform daily, weekly and monthly proactive housekeeping and monitoringactivities Vendor co-ordination, Perform basic Service Requests based onStandard Operating Procedures. Follow quality / security process defined forthe engagement.
  • Troubleshoot &Coordinate with location NOC during the critical network issues.
  • Manage SCCM & AVcompliance status in desktops & laptops.
  • Desktop/ Laptops OSinstallation & configurations as per business requirement.
  • Handle Desktop H/w& S/w incident ticket.



 Roles & Responsibilities:

"As an Engineer, you are responsible for providing support for troubleshooting requirements in the Engineering, Infrastructure service or Product/Package Implementation space. You are expected to apply know-how with minimal or broad supervision and be involved inimplementation, integrated testing, debugging and documentation and may be required to work as on-call support or in shifts."
